Former Arizona Governor Admits to Seeing Phoenix Lights.

This just chaps my ass. Fife Symington was governor of Arizona in 1997 during the phenomenon which has come to be known as the Phoenix Lights. After asking the Arizona Department of Public Safety to investigate, he held a press conference claiming to have discovered, and caught, the cause of the events. He then pulled one of his aids on stage, who was handcuffed and dressed up as an alien. You may have seen it. The ridiculous and humiliating scene made the national news.

Now that he is no longer governor, he can apparently be honest (is it necessary to be deceitful when in office?). Fife recently told the Daily Courier that he saw a UFO that very night! Not only did he see a UFO, but he states “It was enormous and inexplicable”. He also backs up the witnesses in recounting it as V shaped.

Amazing. Yes, I’m very glad he came forward with what he really saw, it’s a step in the right direction. But, it’d be awfully nice if those elected to office could 1) be honest, and 2) take the subject of UFOs, aliens, and everything else considered “paranormal” seriously.
